Partner with TheBusinessGrid and our delivery team to transform underused property into income-generating EV charging hubs, fleet centres, and renewable energy installations.
The UK is legally committed to Net Zero by 2050. The Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate means:
- 80% of new cars and 70% of new vans must be zero-emission by 2030
- 100% by 2035But here’s the challenge: we’re short by 2.3 million public chargers. Businesses, fleet operators, and landowners who act now can secure prime positions and lock in long-term, index-linked income for decades.

Earn long-term rental income from as little as 0.2 acres of roadside, brownfield, or surplus land.

In order to understand your businesses current energy needs, we need to obtain your ‘Annual Energy Statement’ and ‘Half-Hourly Energy Data’. Your Annual Energy Statement is usually provided by your utility supplier, while the Half-Hourly Energy Data is usually available on your utility suppliers customer portal. If you are unable to provide this data, The Business Grid are able to liaise with your utility provider on your behalf. This can be achieved in either of the following ways;1) Share your log in details to your utility suppliers customer portal. This is the quickest way of obtaining the required information.2) By completing the attached ‘Letter of Authority’, after which we can write to your utility supplier to request the information. This process typically takes between 1-2 weeks for the utility supplier to complete (depending on the level of demand at the time the request is submitted).Once we have obtained the required data, The Business Grid will typically be able to provide a full proposal to you within 7-10 working days. Thanks again for getting in touch with The Business Grid. We look forward to working with you.
